Program Delivery

Successfully deliver your Choose to Move program with these essential steps and resources.

Promotion and Recruitment Support

Once you have established the start date for your program, you will begin promotion and recruitment. The Active Aging Society will support you by:

• Meeting with your team to brainstorm recruitment strategies.

• Provide access to promotional templates that can be customized for your use. Download the promotional documents here

• Share information about your Choose to Move program on our website, through paid Facebook advertising campaigns, in our regular newsletters.

• You will aim for 12-15 participants per program.

Hosting an Information Session

Introducing Choose to Move to potential participants: Information sessions take place before the program starts to help participants decide if Choose to Move is right for them. Each participant is also screened for eligibility (e.g., not regularly active). Activity coaches will organize the administrative details associated with setting up the session, facilitate the information session and follow-up with attendees after the session to see if they are interested in registering for Choose to Move.
